ENERGY REBATES GO TO CHURCH

Life with Solar, LLC, a consortium of clean-energy businesses based in Reno, has been awarded about 900,000 watts of solar power to be installed in area churches under an NV Energy rebate program.

Life with Solar filed rebate applications with NV Energy on behalf of nine churches.  The following churches have been awarded rebates in 100 kw increments at $5 per watt: Reno Christian Fellowship, Saint Paul’s Methodist Church, Lighthouse Baptist Church, South Reno Baptist Church, The Rock Church, Faith Baptist Church, and the First Baptist Church.
